iPad Applications to Support Struggling Readers

This hands on workshop will help educators identify applications and creative ways to effectively use the iPad in their classrooms to support struggling readers and writers in the primary and intermediate grades. The presenter will show how to use the iPad to improve student performance and understanding of concepts through creation, not just consumption. Participants should bring an iPads in order to download and try out suggested applications and creative ways to meet student needs.
