Lawrence Reiff is an English Language Arts teacher at Roslyn High School in Roslyn, New York. He earned his Master’s Degree in Adolescent English Education from Long Island University in 2006. In 2007, he completed the Folger Shakespeare Library’s “Teaching Shakespeare Institute” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. In 2011, Lawrence was named an Apple Distinguished Educator for his work with iPads and other technologies in the classroom. In 2013, he was accepted by Google as a Google Certified Teacher. He has authored a number of articles on integrating technology into the classroom, including “Using the iPad to Teach Shakespeare” and “Using Social Networking to Teach Shakespeare,” for Wired Educator. His multitouch book, If Shakespeare Could Tweet is available on the iBook Store. Lawrence has presented his ideas at different conferences around the country including the EdTech iPad Teacher Summit in Boston, Massachusetts, the Shakespeare Connects Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan and SXSWEdu in Austin, TX.
